Chevening does not require or recommend using a consultant. Any agent charging a fee to "process" or "improve" a Chevening application is charging for something the programme does not require.
Common mistakes
- Taking General Training IELTS instead of Academic — most universities require Academic for admission
- Applying without the full 2 years work experience — partial years are not counted
- Not having a named UK university offer before applying — Chevening requires applicants to have applied to three UK universities
